Men’s Summer Fashion for Dummies

There gets a point in every man’s life when he realizes the need to look presentable during every occasion. The only problem is, many people have no idea where to start. Some guys can pull it off naturally; throw a jacket over a button-down and they are good to go. For others, it’s not quite as easy. This article is for those people. The people that might not even have that jacket in their closet in the first place.

Wedding Suit

The Basics

First things first. Every man needs the basics if they want to look even remotely presentable for something like a wedding, church or just a nice night out. A general rule of thumb is that you will look fine 90% of the time if you own these essentials: a good pair of khaki pants, a white or blue button-down shirt, a blue blazer, a matching tie and a solid pair of leather shoes. If all of these are ironed and shined, you will look fine. This is good if you only have to dress up occasionally, like for a wedding. If you are going to be wearing nice clothes every day, you’re going to need more variation.

Work Attire

It seems like almost every nice job these days require some sort of nice clothing, whether it be slacks and a button-down or the full suit and tie combo. Whatever it is, if you’re going to be working in an office every day, you’re going to need variation. If your job requires a suit, make sure to buy at least three well-fitting suits. Not your dad’s awful fitting suit from the seventies. You’re never going to look good in clothes that don’t fit you, so think about the purchase as an investment in your job. Buy a few neutral looking suits that fit well with each other, then mix and match. Pair some light pants with a navy jacket, or some khakis with a soft green jacket. If it looks good in the mirror, it probably works. If you still don’t know, ask a girl. They will.

Seersucker and white linen

It’s summer, which means it’s hot. Really hot. That means you need to have clothes that will not only look good in the summer sun, but also feel good. That’s where seersucker and white linen come into play. These materials were meant for the summer, hence the reason why you’re not supposed to wear them after labor day. Seersucker or white linen makes for the perfect wedding suit. Wear a well-fitting seersucker suit and you’ll be the life of the party.

With the right materials, summer fashion can be a breeze. When you look good, you feel good. And when you feel good, you look good. So get out there, have a good time, and don’t forget your seersucker.

How to Dress to Stand Out at a Job Interview

The question of how to dress for a job interview is one that has been asked for years, it is also an experience that many have undertaken and got either perfectly right, or horribly wrong.  For those of us who decide that a new job is necessary to bring a little life back to our careers, it is ridiculous if we allow all the good work we did in putting together a great application and finding an attractive opportunity to be thrown away by what we wear.

We looked at tackle this problem by exploring the best outfit options that will help you standout at the interview, and give you the best chance of getting the job. Of course, the answers you give will count for something, too!
What Not to Do
Let us get something out of the way right off the bat. Going for the same old trouser suit and dull blouse is not going to get you anywhere. Such a look screams ‘vanilla,’ and as you know, while trusty, vanilla is boring and does almost nothing to make it notable.
So, we’re looking for something different, something fresh, and something exciting. This is how you will stand out in an interview this year.
Bright and Bold
Some of the biggest colours dominating fashion this year are bright greens, pinks, and yellows. While a first think about those might make you feel like you are going to be dressed like a highlighter pen, they actually look very tasteful and classy, and will work wonders in bringing your trouser suit to life if you still opt for it.
The contrast between the professional looking and attire and the playful yet serious colour blocks will mean that you command attention wherever you are, it will boost your confidence a treat, too.
Play With Patterns
It is easy to fall into the ‘block colours only’ mentality when going for a job interview, but with patterns a huge part of modern fashion you would be foolish not to consider them. A polka dot or floral dress, for example, is a departure away from the traditional interview look yet will still make you look classy and formal. You could even pair the dress with a tailored jacket to add an even more professional edge.
Striped blouses are a great way to add a little something to a suited look, and are especially useful if wearing the bold colours we looked at earlier isn’t for you!
Jewellery
The rules are simple when it comes to jewellery, everything you wear should be understated and fit in naturally with your look. Opting for a large mock-diamond ring or necklace might get you attention, but almost certainly not the kind you want.
Stick to small earrings and your wedding bands, rather than going over the top and trying to dazzle.
Pick out great fashions to help you stand out at a job interview this year. Most importantly, ensure you feel comfortable, confident, and ready to show that not employing you would be a huge mistake.

Factors to Look in Wholesale Tees Suppliers

The moment you decide to buy t-shirts at wholesale, you need to shift your focus on finding the right wholesale tees suppliers. It is crucial that you invest time to look and compare among your options instead of settling for the first one you see, or that which you already know of. While it might be true that you can save a great deal on buying wholesale, you can boost your savings when you pick the right supplier.

Custom T Shirt

Available Brands

The main thing to consider when looking for suppliers for wholesale t-shirts online is the range of options. Top brands of t-shirts must be available for you to order, as well as different styles and cuts of tees. If you have specific preference, make sure to contact your chosen supplier about its availability. This applies not only to brand, though. Make sure that the online suppliers have the colors and sizes you need.

Price

It is one of the most critical factors to look into when buying t-shirts at wholesale. It is a known fact that wholesale pricing is considerably less than retail pricing, which means that you need to consider your options to find one that can give you most value. Also, do not just look at it in terms of pricing per se. Examine the brands available to make sure you can get quality blank t-shirts for the price.

Guarantee

Not all online suppliers offer a money back guarantee but the best ones do have them. Consider yourself lucky if you can get a trusted supplier that is willing to offer this guarantee to their clients because this is an indicator of quality. If a supplier is willing to give money back to unsatisfied customers, it only means that they have full confidence in the quality of their products and its ability to satisfy customers. In return, it also gives buyers the confidence they need when making a purchase online for basic and organic tees.

Customer Service

You do not need to become an ongoing customer of a given supplier for you to gauge their ability to provide quality customer service. You can assess it from the moment you make your first inquiry. Look at how well they attend to your needs. Are they responsive enough? Do they provide you with the exact details you need to make an informed decision on where you can get quality blank t-shirts? Are they polite when answering your queries? Small details like these are crucial as you make up your mind as to which supplier to get your shirts from. If they can't leave a good impression by the time you are comparison shopping, how do you expect them to improve their service once you've been an official customer?

It is important that your chosen wholesale tees suppliers should have met the criteria listed above. This is your only guarantee that you get maximum value for money and that the t-shirts are also at the condition you had expected them to be in. Wholesale t-shirts at wholesaleteez.com offering 100% refund policy for unsatisfied customers which gives buyers the confidence they need about their choices. Make sure you look for the same guarantee when shopping so you will have nothing to lose.

Engagement Ring Tips for Guys

So you’ve found the woman of your dreams and are thinking of popping the all important question? First of all – congratulations! Second of all let’s get down to the next and probably most important stage of your proposal – picking the ring.

princess cut diamond ring

You don’t have to provide a rock the size of a tennis ball to prove your love to her – if you do, then the chances are that maybe she’s not the one for you. You do however need to take certain steps to ensure that you’re both happy with the chosen ring.

Whether you have £300, £3,000 or £30,000 to spend – choosing the right ring can be stressful, so here are your steps for picking the perfect ring that will guarantee she says yes.

Budget
Know how much you are spending and try to stick to it. There will always be a sales assistant in a jewellery store telling you that the next size up diamond has the real ‘wow’ factor etc. Try to find an amount you are both comfortable with and can afford, but don’t be a skin flint!

Her Tastes
You know her well enough to know if she wants a princess cut diamond ring in a platinum setting or a sapphire cluster ring on a gold band? Nope – too specific? Okay, so what do you know about her tastes? Pay attention to what jewellery she does wear – this ring isn’t about your tastes – it’s about her. Does she prefer platinum or yellow gold? Is she quite traditional or is she quirky? The chances are that if you have reached the stage of proposing she has already hinted at what she likes at some point. Remember these and take note. Don’t ask her – no matter how casual you think you are being, she will know and it will spoil the surprise when you do propose. Also a ring can always be re-sized but the closer you get to her ring size the better – you may need help from a close friend of hers or family member for this.

The 4 C’s – Cut, Carat, Colour and Clarity
These four factors are used to assess the quality of diamonds. Cut is the style and shape of the diamond such as – pear, round, princess etc. This is key – try to find out what her favourite cut of diamond is – once you know that the rest should be easy. Carat is the weight and size of the diamond and both colour and clarity are about the subtle ‘marks’ or ‘blemishes’ that affect the value of the diamond. Women tend to have varying attitudes to diamonds where some will value quality over size and others will prefer a larger diamond and be willing to compromise on colour and clarity.

Choose the right Jeweller
A decision as big and expensive as this requires a jeweller you feel comfortable with. Do your research and pick out specific places to visit, rather than randomly trawling the high street and falling into any one that is convenient. A large chain shop may seem reliable but you may find you get more for your money at a one off jeweller.

Check your Paperwork
So you’ve made your decision – chosen the perfect ring and are about to hand over the money. Don’t forget in your excitement of finally choosing a ring that you need to ask for diamond certificates - which authenticate its attributes. You also need a written valuation and keep your receipt as proof of purchase and value. Also - make sure you read all the small print of your insurance policy. It might be helpful to get this added or itemised on your home insurance – just in case!
So now you have the perfect ring, it’s time to plan the perfect proposal!
